1)Install Base Unit in a convenient place, either in a Cupboard or out on a shelve. Make sure that there is easy access to an electrical plug point, if you are using Electricity to charge the unit. You will not require an electrical plug point if Solar Panels are Installed to charge the unit. This unit can be used in both modes of charging as well.

2)Place lights (5 Max) in the appropriate places and run all wire to the Base Unit.

3)Connect lights to light points at rear of unit. One end in red and the other in black for each light.

4)Mount the small sensor unit in a place where there is enough daylight (Two sided tape supplied). Plug other end of sensor in rear of panel making sure that you plug red to red and black to black.(marked "SENSOR" on the rear panel of the unit).

5)Plug one end of transformer into the rear panel of the unit (marked "POWER"). If a solar Panel is used plug the output end of the solar regulator into the "AUX IN" socket. NB: Solar panels cannot be used directly into this unit. An EZYLight Solar Regulator must be used.

6)Make sure that all the connectors and wires are inserted properly and that all switches on the front panel are turned off.

7)Plug the transformer into an electricity plug and turn on.

8)The unit is now ready. Turn the "POWER" switch on the front panel ON. The switch should light up. Flick all light switches to ON ("I"). The EZY unit is now in standby mode and the battery is charging. When the battery is full the unit will switch internally to trickle charge, maintaining full charge on the battery at all times. In this mode the unit will monitor when the electrical supply to the unit has been cut and automatically switch the EZY lights on. If however, it detects that the electrical supply is cut while it is light enough, the unit will not switch the EZY Lights on until it is dark enough.

9)If you want to use EZYLight as alternative lighting, flick the bypass switch ON. All the EZY lights will come on. Each individual light can be switched off or on by flicking channels Light1 to Light5.
